Our approach to ESG is built on three pillars. These pillars are the foundation for everything we do, from the strategic investments we make to the packaging innovations we deliver.
Environment
We take a holistic view of the environment to ensure every packaging solution we produce has the lowest possible impact on the environment. This can involve ensuring they are compatible with recycling infrastructure, they use recycled content, lightweighting and downgauging materials, and - most importantly - ensuring each pack delivers the functional performance required, reducing food and product waste.
We also continually review and invest in our processes and technologies across the Grenadier family to ensure we’re making the most efficient use of every resource we use, from water to paper fibres and beyond.
Social
Our goal is to ensure that every individual working at a Grenadier Packaging company gets home safe, every day. We’ve fostered a culture of accountability and safety, with robust procedures in place to protect employees and ensure they can unlock their full potential at work.
We also know we have a responsibility to the communities which we live and work in. It’s a responsibility we embrace, and we’re proud of our efforts to positively impact the local communities around the world that do so much for our business.

Our principles are non-negotiable, and we’re proud that we do business the right way. We don’t see full compliance with social, economic, and environmental regulations as an end goal – we see it as a baseline. A platform that we can build from to support our customers in their own ESG goals.
